There was no brief on this project, just a corridor conversation with a client at Land Rover who had received a letter from a woman whose father was about to turn 80. He loved Land Rovers. He'd spent most of his life working with them, selling them for a living and even trialled them at the weekends in owners' club competitions when he was younger. His daughter was asking if Land Rover could let him go on a factory tour, or maybe even send him a birthday card.
When we heard about the letter we thought we could go one better - and give Geoff a surprise 80th Birthday present he'd never forget.
