Hello, I’m Matt Statham. I probably should have followed Jason into the world of action movies, but a certain ‘Finger of Fudge’ ad in the 1980’s set me on a different path altogether. A path that I genuinely love.

I’m a multi-award-winning advertising creative, art director, problem solver and creative director with over twenty-five years’ advertising agency experience. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on clients of all sizes at big global network agencies in London.

I absolutely love great ideas, crafted well. Building big brands through emotive storytelling - and collaborating with all members of the team along the way.
I specialise in fully-integrated campaigns that can thread across all media channels and all consumer touch points, including broadcast tv and cinema, print and poster, social media, performance marketing, direct mail marketing, experiential, gaming, and mobile apps.

I’m currently a full-time employee at Accenture Song, where I’m a Global Creative Director on the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) account, predominantly focused on Defender and Discovery, but also working across the Range Rover and Jaguar brands, including partnerships and sponsorships such as Rugby World Cup and Wimbledon. I write and produce my own work as well as overseeing creative teams and designers within the JLR team and I’m ultimately responsible for the delivery of marketing campaigns for the JLR Global and UK market.

Before that I was UK Creative Director across JLR at Spark44.

At Y&R London I was a Senior Global Creative and Creative Director working across the Land Rover Global account. In all, I’ve spent over 11 years working on Land Rover. A brand that I absolutely love. But I’m not all about cars.

Prior to this, I spent a large part of my career at McCann London, where I was hired to work on Coca-Cola and worked my way up to Creative Lead on accounts such as Xbox, Mastercard, Sharwood’s Foods and Loyd Grossman. Along the way I created campaigns for clients such as Heinz, Nescafé, 2012 Olympics, Durex, Panasonic, Technics, Nurofen, American Airlines, South African Airways, Co-op, Bacardi and Black & Decker, to name a few. In that time, I also worked on and creatively lead successful new business pitches for numerous UK and Global clients.

Looking forward, my passions lay in leading and collaborating with like-minded creative people to create strong, original creative solutions, always with a strong focus on the craft and detail of the final output. Exploring new technology and embracing AI to improve and augment our image creation and production capabilities, as and when relevant - ensuring I deliver outstanding creative work across all channels.
